Designing

One of the first in the sign structure industry, Hurtt Fabricating pioneered the field in overhead design and innovation.

No project too big – or too small – Hurtt Fabricating custom designs each structure, and foundation when necessary, for location and environment, and per state and federal requirements and regulations. The company has designed projects in over half the states across the country, and collaborated with construction and installation teams in wide-ranging capacities. Fabricating

Hurtt Fabricating’s in-house team has been building the structures along America’s roadways since 1966 at its manufacturing facilities, which are set on 30 acres in Marceline, Missouri. The company is an AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) Certified Metal Component Manufacturer and licensed in all 50 states. The tenured and highly skilled in-house team includes NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) International and AWS (American Welding Society) certified inspectors and welders. These in-house CWIs (Certified Welding Inspectors) are present every shift, ensuring quality throughout the production and assembly processes. Products are manufactured using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and then coated in painted, powder coated or galvanized finish, per state and federal specifications. The average tenure for Hurtt Fabricating’s tradesmen exceeds 13 years, and the plant management team averages more than 27 years in fabrication. All that experience, along with well-managed fabrication schedules and nimble capabilities, is what sets the company apart.
