Youth Apprenticeship
The Hurtt Fabricating Youth Apprenticeship Program allows high school juniors to earn credit while gaining real-world experience and getting paid. Students receive one-on-one mentoring and on-the-job training in bidding, drafting, purchasing, cutting, welding, quality control, and shipping. Pay increases as skill and benchmarks are achieved. At the completion of the program, students receive a Journeyman Certificate, a nationally recognized qualification, and offered full-time employment upon high school graduation.
